How can I fight depression and harassment due to unemployment?
During unemployment phase, it is very important to take care of your mental and physical health. Mental health effects physical health. There are a couple of things you should do:
1. You should keep networking. Meet friends and family. Talking to people helps.
2. Keep yourself busy by doing some productive work - be it some social work project or by helping someone do his/her work.
3. Build on your hobbies like gardening, reading, or painting.
4. Desperation for a job should not impact intelligent job search. Sometimes we get so desperate for a job that it impact the quality of the search. Take this as a temporary phase.
This is learning period for anybody and may be the best period of your life if you take it positively. You can do things that you always always wanted to do but never had the time for it.
