Dear Arun,
Some organisations have a view that freshers cannot quit as it is slightly more challenging for a fresher to find another job due to inexperience. Ideally, the good organisations don’t treat employees that way. They motivate the employees to perform. I am not sure based on your description of the problem whether this is specific to the organisation or your manager. Sometimes it is the Manager who has such an attitude and the organisation does not promote it.

For a fresher, the tasks can be of a low level from what you possibly dreamt of at the time of joining the organisation. This is quite normal. You will have to work on your relationship with your Boss to move to higher level jobs. Chat with him informally to find out new opportunities. There is no legal solution really! The salary issue – is it specific to you only while others at the same level have got the hike? If the answer is yes – then you really need start looking out for another job. After 1 year of experience, you can find another job. So build a resume and work on your communication skills. Companies look out for positive people who have a zeal to work hard. You seem to be a hard working person and if you can work on your spoken English/ communication skills then you will be able to crack the interview.

In the meantime, I would suggest that you hang on to your current job till you find another job. Remember, this is not the end of the story but just the beginning!:-)
