Systems and Networking
The question that you have posted in quite generic - for eg, I have fever:-) We need to know the type of fever to figure out the right cure for the problem. So, we need more details to make the fix relevant to your problem.
For a generic question, I have a generic response. You need to consider yourself as a product that you are marketing for a price. You have a face cream that is available for 1 dollar/Rs 50 and also for 10 dollars/Rs 500. While both are creams, it is the packaging and the marketing that makes the difference in price.
To get a good paying job, you will have to arm yourself with a good resume and market your skills to the prospective employer in a way that he gives the salary that you are seeking/looking for. This will also need you to hone your communication skills and personality. Get good references and network with friends/peers.
Last but not the least, when you are looking at a good salary, you should also look at the job content for job satisfaction is also important. Happy fixing!
